The island of Ebeye is situated on the Kwajalein Atoll of the Marshall Islands. Kwajalein is one of the largest atolls in the world and Ebeye is the most populous island in this group.

The climate is tropical; its average daily temperature is around 20° C to 25° C. The trade winds and frequent rainfall help in keeping the temperature at a tolerable level.
Ebeye has a population of about 11,000 people. It also has a US Military base which doubles as the commercial airport.
The main ethnic group on this island are the Micronesians, along with a smattering of the Kosrae, Americans and Filipinos. English is widely spoken and is the official language.
