The city of Tamuning is located on the northwestern shore of the island of Guam in the North Pacific.
With a population of about 18,000, this green town is the economic hub of Guam. The people here speak English and Chamoro. This coastal town has a tropical climate, with some seasonal variations in temperature. The monsoons are dry and the average annual temperature is 27°C.
Tamuning lies along the island country’s largest road, the Marine Corps Drive, and includes Tumon—the heart of the tourism industry in Guam.
