Fiji hosts a number of sports events through out the year, like the South Pacific Bowling Carnival held at the Suva Lawn Bowling Club. The Air New Zealand Koru Club Golf Event is a combination of good golf along with quality entertainment. The venue, Denarau Island, provides for a challenging course along with a beautiful background for some leisure activities.
The World Music Festival, held in the National Stadium in Suva, is a recent event started in 2006. It featured some excellent local bands and is looking to make it an annual event.
The World Music Festival Event in Savusavu is in its fourth year now. It is fast gaining popularity and features some international musicians also.
Beachcomber Island Annual Fiji Fun Swim is a fun-filled event, held at the picturesque island of Mamanuca.
