Tourist guide Surfers Paradise

Surfers Paradise, a town on Australia’s Gold Coast in Queensland, is situated along the river Nerang. With a population of about 23,443, it was originally known as Elston; it was later renamed as Surfers Paradise in 1933.

Surfers Paradise is characterised by a subtropical climate. With plenty of lush greenery, it also houses some part of the Tropical Rain Forests.

The town is famous for its excellent fishing grounds. It is also known for its residential skyscrapers and extremely safe beaches for water sports. As the name suggests, it actually is a paradise for those coming to surf the huge waves. However, those looking to spend a calm and tranquil vacation will feel a little out of place. The town’s economy thrives on the tourism industry.
