Sabino Canyon

Sabino Canyon is a prominent canyon situated in the Santa Catalina Mountains which is to the north of Tucson in Arizona in the US.
It is a well-known recreation spot for both visitors and residents of Southern Arizona for activities like riding, hiking and walking.
As visitor cars are not allowed, the Canyon is accessible only on foot, or by tram or bicycle. Regular Tram tours of the Canyon have been arranged since 1985.
Within minutes of the Canyon there are large waterfalls with small bridges.
Sabino Canyon has diverse wildlife with skunks, deer, rattlesnakes, tortoise and mountain lions.
An independent and non-profit organization known as Friends of Sabino Canyon, which was founded in 1993, looks after the welfare of the Canyon and is responsible for its upkeep and some minor new constructions in and around the Canyon.
