Isla Holbox is famous for being a major hammock producing area, if you’re looking for good quality of nylon and cotton hammocks, now you know where to find it. Besides its lovely intact shells on the beautiful white beaches makes you want to have some back home right on your table. The place has its own guitar makers and there are a lot of other local craftsmen producing things you won’t find anywhere else. These things can be taken back as souvenirs for family and friends. One can find other necessities, but shouldn’t expect too much as it can lead to disappointment. It’s surprising to know that this lovely island does not have its own bank.
