Montrose is a lively and lovely seaside resort with a busy port, an important trading and commercial hub, where tourists are offered lots of shopping  facilities and services, not to mention its extraordinary beaches.

Montrose has long been an important fishing & lumber centre, not to forget its relevance as a wool exporter.

It is to be said that Montrose and the whole area have lots to offer from castles to theme parks, activities for children & school holiday ideas, rainy days to free activities, lakes to scenic walks, historic houses to forests and parks.

Montrose is a coastal town in the north side of United Kingdom, whose natural harbour has been its main resource for a long time, while at present its supports the North Sea oil industry.

Montrose is a lively, busy coast town, whose commercial heart is High Street, where are most of its shops, along with the library, the Town House and its antique Church.

According to its past and present tradition, Montrose is the very place where enjoy seafood, as famous it is for salmon, though international cuisine is offered nearly everywhere!

The city enjoys a moderate climate with summers characterized by warm and hot days and humid periods and a gentle breeze at night.
