Toledo has a population of approximately 76,000. The main language that is spoken is Castilian Spanish.
Toledo was once the capital of the Spanish Empire. It is a city where Christian, Jewish and Moorish cultures coexist in harmony and has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO due to its extensive cultural and monumental heritage. The city is also the birth place of many famous artists.
