The Yumbo Centre in Playa del Ingles houses a large number of gay bars and pubs. It is home to an exciting nightlife, with an amazing array of discos, pubs, bars and a late night amusement park.
The city of Playa Del Ingles hosts a large number of fiestas and celebrations. Some of the most popular events include the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Carnival, celebrated by locals and tourists from all over Gran Canaria. Fiesta del Charco and Fiesta de los Aborigines are also popular.
