Dingle, a County Kerry town, is situated in the Republic of Ireland, on the Atlantic coast.
In 2006 Dingle had a small population of 1,920. The region has a maritime climate which makes the conditions equitable throughout the year. It can rain at any time of the year, but does so most often in the winter.
Principal industries in the town are tourism, fishing and farming. Dingle Activities Centre offers facilities in the midst of Ireland's finest scenery, full of cultural and archaeological treasures.
The Centre is a family run business offering numerous services including guided tours, cycling, fishing, beach combing, swimming, horse riding, boat trips and much more. A number of unspoilt places and various adventurous activities attract a large number of visitors every year.
