Vienna is the capital of Austria as well as the federal province and largest
city of Austria. Vienna is divided into 23 “Bezirke” districts.
The city is located along the River Danube which has always had an important
rule in its history.
Vienna is the financial and administrative capital of Austria and home of many
international organizations.
Vienna has generally a moderate climate, although the city can experience low
temperatures in winter with heavy snowfalls and sometimes hot temperatures in
summer. Usually the climate in summer is very agreeable and the average temperature
is about 20°C.
The official language is as all over Austria German but nearly anyone speaks
fluently English and the local currency is Euro.
