Commuting into and travellling around Bangkok is becoming more and more friendly.
There are more efficient and effective options available now compared to traditional modes for moving around Bangkok like using a boat which has been used for a long time, to the most advanced Sky Trains and the Bangkok Metro rail.
Sky Trains especially proved to be a revolution as a transport mode where earlier journeys between one region of the city and another would take from 20 minutes to 2 hours depending on traffic. This travel time was reduced to seven minutes to a ten minute ride.
The other mode of transport in Bangkok is the Bangkok Metro.
Taxis and privately owned cars also form an important part of the transportation network. A taxi ride can sometimes be a never-ending journey due to congestion and heavy traffic.
Tuk-Tuks that were widely used transport mode are becoming rarer each day as they are more costly than a taxi ride.
Motorcycle Taxis are considered one of the most innovative modes of transport. The motorcycle taxi ride turns out to be very safe and the quickest while travelling by road.
Apart from these methods one can travel by bus, railway and boat.
