Manila Baywalk is a famous open space in the city.
This walkway lies in front of Manila Bay where visitors can experience one of the most spectacular sunsets of the world.
Giant kaleidoscopic lamp posts, coconut trees and scenery cover-up the entire stretch besides the Roxas Boulevard.
The Baywalk is surrounded by the US Embassy and Luneta / Rizal Park to the north and the Cultural Centre of the Philippines Complex to the south.
The Malate Church area, Remedios Circle, dance spots, eateries and Nakpil street bars are also closely located.
The Baywalk has recently undergone a major facelift. The entire facade has been done up, the streets paved and brightly lit. Numerous cafes, bars and restaurants surround the Baywalk.
The live music played by the band is enjoyed by all. The region sometimes can be extremely crowded and parking can be a great challenge. Despite all this, the place is still known as a home to gorgeous sunsets.
