Another major landmark in the city is the Sultan Abdul Sama Building that was built in 1848 by British architects. The building is topped by a copper dome and a 40-metre high clock tower which happens to be a well-known gathering-point for New Year celebrations.
The Kuala Lumpur City Center Park is a place that often attracts people who are looking for a peaceful garden retreat in the middle of a bustling city. The 20 hectare park has a jogging park, fountain pool, sculptures, lake and a children’s playground. Not to be missed are the amazing fireworks display held on New Year’s Eve.
