Trambakeshwar, which is a Jyotirling, is just 25 km from Nasik. Here, one can find the ‘Bramhagiri Parvat’ where Lord Shiva resided.

This mountain is also the source of the river Godawari. Devout followers of Lord Shiva go to Trambakeshwar and choose either a 30 km or 60 km walk to Bramhagiri.

This walk is done without any footwear. There is 5 km of street, 10 km of hilly area, 10 km of mud-filled area and lastly 5 km of street. The ambience is very festive.

On the third Monday in the month of Shrawan (August), there are about 0.15 million people at this place who are aged from 10 to 80.

Saaputara is a tourist place that is about 80 km from Nasik. On this route, when one is 40 km from Nasik, it is possible to view Sapta-Shrungi. This is a group of seven mountains at a single place. Here, one can also find the Devi’s Mandir. This place has a rich heritage.

The Pandavlene Caves are 2000 year old and are located on a hill. There are about 24 caves. It is said that these have imaginative water storage.

Nasik is host to the Kumbh-Mela. This occurs once after 13 years. When Jupiter enters Leo, minimum 2.5 million people visit Nasik.
