Goa: Vacations and Tourism

In terms of area consumption, Goa is the smallest state in India. With a populace of over one million residents, Goa is internationally known for its beaches and is visited by millions of tourists every year. The state boasts of splendid picturesque beauty and architectural brilliance.

Goa experiences a tropical climate, which is warm and humid for most of the year due to its proximity to the Arabian Sea. May is the hottest month, while December to February is the cool period. June brings with it rains that last till late September

The history of Goa dates back to the third century when it was a part of the Mauryan Empire. Today, Goa is economically strong and undertakes the manufacturing of chemicals, footwear, textiles, steel and more. Goa is India’s richest state and has one of the fastest growth rates in India.
