Walk across the streets of Port Sudan and see the beautiful lattice woodwork on the old buildings, a glimpse of the city's once prestigious past.
Port Sudan is known among tourists for its excellent diving sites, it has beautiful coral reefs and exotic marine life which includes the Hammer Sharks. The best time to go diving is from October-June.

Explore the beautiful ruins of the ancient port of Suakin. Though the coral buildings here are in crumbling ruins, they still remain a strong symbol of Sudanese culture.
Explore the Red Sea Hills and the Nubian Desert, an excellent site for desert wildlife and culture. The hunting season here runs from October through February.
